Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Slop. Detection results are an additional signal, not proof or professional advice.

Effective July 30, 2026

1. Agreement and eligibility

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Gedcom AI LLC. By accessing or using Slop, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Slop.

You must be at least 13 years old and legally able to enter this agreement. If you use Slop for an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind it.

2. The service

Slop analyzes user-selected images, short videos, and supported social posts for signals associated with AI-generated content. Results are probabilistic and may be incomplete, inaccurate, unavailable, or change as detection technology evolves.

Slop does not verify truth, ownership, identity, provenance, legality, or authenticity. Do not use a result as the sole basis for a legal, safety, employment, financial, medical, reputational, or other consequential decision.

3. Your account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Apple account and device and for activity under your Slop account. Provide accurate information and promptly notify us of suspected unauthorized use. You may delete your account from the You screen in the app.

4. Your content and permissions

You retain any rights you have in content you submit. You grant us a limited, nonexclusive license to access, copy, transform, transmit, and process submitted content only as needed to operate, secure, and support Slop.

Each time you submit media or a social-post URL, you expressly direct Slop to retrieve and make a temporary technical copy of the specific content you selected, solely to perform the analysis you requested, generate your private result and thumbnail, and provide related support and security functions. Slop does not provide the retrieved raw social media to you as a general-purpose download and does not publicly republish it.

For every submission, you represent and warrant that: (a) the content is lawfully accessible to you; (b) you own the content or have all licenses, permissions, consents, or other lawful authority required to direct this processing; (c) your use complies with applicable law, copyright and privacy rights, and the rules of the source platform; (d) you are not asking Slop to bypass authentication, paywalls, access controls, geographic restrictions, or privacy settings; and (e) if you act for another person or organization, you are authorized to make these representations for them. A publicly accessible URL by itself does not necessarily establish that you have these rights.

You are solely responsible for the content and URLs you choose and for determining whether your requested analysis is permitted. Slop may reject, stop processing, or remove any submission when we reasonably believe that it may violate law, platform rules, these Terms, or another person's rights. Slop is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Instagram, TikTok, Meta, or their owners.

5. Acceptable use

You may not:

  • Use Slop for unlawful, abusive, deceptive, or harmful activity.
  • Submit malware or attempt to access another person's account.
  • Evade usage limits or interfere with service operation.
  • Reverse engineer or scrape Slop except where law permits.
  • Use results to harass, defame, discriminate against, or falsely accuse another person.
  • Submit private, restricted, unlawfully obtained, or unauthorized third-party content, or use Slop to evade a source platform's technical or contractual restrictions.
  • Resell Slop or use it to build a competing dataset or detector without written permission.

6. Plans and payments

Slop currently provides a free plan with usage limits. We may introduce paid features in the future. If we do, the app will present the price, billing period, renewal terms, and required purchase disclosures before you buy. Purchases made through Apple are also governed by Apple's terms, and subscription management will be available through your Apple account.

7. Third-party services

Slop depends on services operated by others, including Apple, Supabase, hosting providers, social platforms, media-resolution services, and detection providers. Their availability, content, policies, and technical behavior are outside our control. A supported source may stop working or change without notice.

References to a third-party platform describe compatibility only and do not grant you rights in that platform or its content. You remain bound by any agreement you have with the source platform. We do not control, speak for, or guarantee the legality, accuracy, licensing, availability, or continued accessibility of third-party content or services.

8. Ownership

Slop, including its software, visual design, branding, and documentation, is owned by Gedcom AI LLC or its licensors and is protected by law. These Terms do not transfer ownership to you. Feedback may be used without restriction or compensation.

The mobile application license is also subject to Apple's applicable standard end-user license agreement where incorporated by the App Store.

9. Suspension and termination

You may stop using Slop or delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect users, enforce these Terms, comply with law, address risk, or discontinue the service. Provisions that by their nature should survive will survive termination.

We may disable access to a submission or result while investigating a good-faith copyright, privacy, platform, or other rights complaint. Rights holders may contact us with identification of the protected work or right, the specific content or URL at issue, their contact information, and a statement explaining the claimed violation. We may request additional information before acting.

10. Disclaimers

11. Limitation of liability

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

12. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you will defend and indemnify Gedcom AI LLC, its affiliates, and their personnel from third-party claims, losses, liabilities, damages, judgments, and reasonable legal costs arising from: (a) content or URLs you submit; (b) your instruction that Slop access or process that content; (c) your violation of copyright, privacy, publicity, contract, platform rules, or other rights; (d) your unlawful or unauthorized use of Slop; or (e) your material breach of these Terms or the representations above. We may control the defense of a covered claim, and you agree to cooperate. This section does not apply where prohibited by consumer law or to the extent a claim was caused by our own unlawful conduct.

13. Governing law and changes

California law governs these Terms, without regard to conflicts of law principles. Courts with jurisdiction over your location may still provide mandatory consumer protections. We may update these Terms and will provide notice when required. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

14. Contact

Questions, rights complaints, and takedown requests can be sent to support@leetstreak.app. Please include enough information for us to identify the specific submission or URL and evaluate the request.
